rough night

Last night was kind of a rough night. My dad had another stroke last night, a mild one, we just kept him home and stayed with him, he appears ok this morning, and doesnt remember much from last night. This is just what we have to deal with till its over. Its so hard watching him go thru this. Poor Dustin just went outside and cried. He wasnt in much pain, just very forgetful. He wants to just be at home and not in a hospital bed, he likes his doggies around him, and his family coming and going, he likes to look out the windows and we all want that to be his decision and will do whatever we can to make his life comfortable. I couldnt sleep last night so I am groggy and kinda short fused this morning, better go read my bible and pray about being nice to my kid-the teenage twit! LOL!

baby baby baby!

ok so I have been dealing with this family baby boom ok so far. I have three grandsons that I adore! I have a grandaughter coming somtime the end of Jan..totally excited about! And Kristen announces the other night she and her hubby Hadly are expecting a baby in June. I got to go with her to her ultrasound yesterday and I noticed two round black circles, my tummy started waving, and then the doc announces, you have twins! Yikes! I couldnt believe it. Poor Kristen looked like she saw a ghost! So we are excited, and scared and wiped out just taking it all in! My concern is that she will lose one of the twins as that is what has happened to everyone in our family who has started out with twins...I am nervous. BUT her hubby put it perfectly, he said "lets just be happy for what we have today!" SO we are rejoicing for the babies and not going to dwell on the possibilitys of tommarow. She has a sonagram on Monday to see more, and possible due dates. I will keep you posted. I still cant believe there are two!!!

a party

So I am throwing my daughter a wedding/housewarming party this weekend, tommarow actually. She got married in Sept. and they moved into a house together in Oct. Since she didnt have a wedding shower or anything, Im just making it a mix! Should be fun. We are bbq'ing burgers and dogs, and everyone is bringing side dishes. I am so happy for her and Kayden to have found Hadly. He is a wonderful daddy for Kayden and hubby for Kristen. They make such a cute lil family. Anyone who wants to make the trek to Centralia for the party is invited!

fall leaves falling flying and lovely!

Driving home Monday from the Coast, the wind was blowing and lots of gorgeous leaves were all across the road when I drove thru them they blew around kind of parted the way as I came thru, it reminded me of a bride almost walking up the isle thru rose petals, it was so beautiful and calming. Our property is covered in the most beautiful colors of fall, I hate for it to go. I will try to take some pics to add this afternoon. But I am sure you all are seeing the same thing, take time to look, go pick up a large yellow leaf, its fun, its refreshing, its being amazed at Gods creation.
